Journaling is a personal practice; That is, there is no way that is wrong in its practice, although you may feel that you are doing it wrong at first. 1. Choose the time that suits you

Most people think that a diary should be written at a specific time, but in fact, you can do it any time you want; You can write it daily, weekly, or once a month.


It goes without saying that the rate at which you practice journaling affects when the benefits begin to emerge, but you must also bear in mind that this practice should be primarily enjoyable, and appropriate for you and your lifestyle.


2. Try several different techniques

Writing a diary is a very common practice; Therefore, people have invented several techniques, and these are some of them:


  • Free writing.
  • Organized writing that includes tasks, calendar, and notes.
  • Morning diary, which is based on enumerating things you are grateful for, or things you intend to achieve.
